Nicola has an innate interest in fashion and has spent her life observing trends. Inspired by such timeless references Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harpers and Life magazine.
“Nostalgia, parody, humour and sexuality are concepts I like to toy with whilst considering production. Fair and well coming up with the most ingenious way of lighting a subject or the most futurist approach to posing your subject but I still believe its vital to express a message, photography is after all a valuable tool for communicating with others. I admire work that becomes timeless to the viewer, but on closer look elements of the period become apparent, or with a post modern twist”
