PROMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
This is an area Nicola finds exciting and very flexible in terms of creative input and engineering. With a background deeply rooted in graphic design she can shoot to any design specification. Her production role in Bite magazine often involved photographing small business and thereafter using her images create advertisements and advertorials as promotional tools.
Recently Nicola has been producing pictures for promotional and local press for Tesco stores. One aspect of the job is a road show makeover competition presented by Jill makeup artist from ‘This Morning; ITV.” A family wins a competition to spend £300 on fashion and is invited for the afternoon for a live makeover and shopping spree.
“Getting people involved and a break from their mundane working can really make someone’s day I find the people get really gets involved, sometimes it can be tricky with time limitations and often asking your subject to perform to a certain task to gain that shot vivid in your head is more often a challenge than not – but it’s great fun”

you. I saw my photo in the Blairgowrie Advertiser today and i have to
say i like it which is unusual for me to like a photo of myself. “
